Principle of Flow Cytometry
The basic principle of flow cytometry is the passage of cells in single file in front of a laser so they can be detected, counted and sorted. Scattering of light and emission of fluorescence occur when a laser beam hits the cells moving in a directed fluid stream. Light scattering by these cells and cellular components occurs due to their structural and morphological properties.

MoniSight (Y/B) scientific flow cytometer: It is equipped with a unique 561nm all-solid-state laser, perfect for PE family dye/mCherry detection. Excitable fluoresceine include: PE, PE-Texas Red, PE-Cy5, PE-Cy7, RFP, mCherry, etc., greatly improve the detection sensitivity and resolution of PE, PE family dyes and mCherry and other red fluorescent proteins. The 561nm laser can also identify the transfection effect of RFP and track the transfected cells. The bimolecular fluorescence complementary system (BiFC) based on mCherry can detect the interaction between proteins in cells, which is simple, rapid, intuitive, sensitive and localization.
